Reiki is an energy healing technique that is used as a complimentary health and wellness modality. Reiki is based on Eastern science that a universal life force (Qi or Chi) supports the body's innate natural healing abilities. Reiki first originated in the early 20th century by a Buddhist Monk and has expanded across several cultural traditions. The healing art of Reiki has been extensively studied for a variety of conditions, including pain, anxiety, stress, fatigue, depression and many others. In my practice, Reiki is used for stress reduction, relaxation, and assisting nature’s path to physical and emotional well-being. Reiki uses a hands-on technique to flow the Reiki energy of love and light through the practitioner and to the client.
Clients can expect a 45 minute to 1 hour session of laying down while fully clothed as they experience the flow of energy. Clients often experience a state of deep relaxation during the session, but no two sessions are the same. Depending on your goal for the session, you may experience emotions that you need to release. Come to a session being open to the experience of accepting the abundance of universal energy into your life!
I offer in-person Reiki sessions, Distance Reiki and pet Reiki, and work with people of all ages and their beloved pets.

Reiki should not be used to replace conventional care about a health problem. If you have severe or long lasting symptoms, see your health care provider. Tell your health care provider about complimentary health approaches you use so that you ensure coordinated and safe, comprehensive care. A comprehensive list and abstracts of Reiki-based scientific and observational studies can be found at the NCCIH Clearinghouse on NCCIH and complimentary and integrative health approaches.
